Review by hotel critic
During my recent motorcycle tour, I stumbled upon Hotel-Landgasthof Schuster in the picturesque town of Greding. Arriving late, I had the pleasure of being greeted by a friendly host, who, despite the language barrier, made check-in seamless. The room was spacious, with a cozy ambiance reminiscent of properties with historical charm dating back to the 1500s. The on-site dining experience was a highlight. I enjoyed breakfast which featured a delightful assortment of fresh bread paired with robust coffee; however, I found the lack of options like juice or eggs somewhat limiting. Regardless, it set me up nicely for the day. Set within a charming postcard town, the hotel’s location invites exploration—think intriguing museums, city walls, and, of course, fantastic local bakeries just a stone's throw away. Although the hotel itself is dated, its cleanliness and historical roots complement a pleasant stay, and should you find yourself nearby, it’s a worthwhile pit stop for fellow food enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
